Glowway trackedge solution
Glowway proudly presents our newest innovation for safety signaling and warning system for rail traffic and flow control for train, railway and tram stations.
Glowway trackedge system combines indication light and a safety system in one while the yellow trackedge in itself fulfills the Eu-safety regulations.
LED attention light (in the midlle) allows passengers to be warned, for example, when a train arrives. The photoluminescent feature, on the other hand, controls the flow in emergencies and during a power failure.

Trackedge solution
The Glowway Trackedge solution allows the use of a red signaling light to indicate the arrival and departure of a train. A green light indicates that the train doors are opening. The yellow trackedge meets the EU’s safety requirement for the platform safety area. Photoluminescent feature can be used to direct passengers to emergency exits in the event of an emergency or, for example, during a power failure.

Trackedge Photoluminescent safety list
Photoluminescent feature of the trackedge guides passengers to emergency exits in case of an emergency e.g. during a power outage or fire. The yellow warning list in itself meets the EU’s safety requirement for edge marking.
In addition, a Led Attention Light can be installed. The list indicates the arrival of the train at the station or closing of the railway wagon doors.

The improved version of our classic stepfront has gained a great success, and it is now widely used solution as a contrast stripe for stairs for increasing safety.

Stair nosing GW0092A is to be installed on a staircase or other base using an aluminum installation chute GW0092B. Installation chute can be fastened to the base with screws. The rubber part in the product is antislip feature and the photoluminescent attention stripe guides the passage even in the dark.

Glowway’s patented innovation combines three important features in one.
High-quality photoluminescent glass strip makes the stairs visible in darkness.
Rubber part provides friction and makes the stairs non-slippery. Dark rubber part also provides an excellent contrast stripe for light colored steps. Light contrast color is available for darker stair materials as a custom product. The product is delivered embedded in the stair structure by our partner company Rudus Oy

Accesibility products
At the heart of our product development has always been to take accessibility into account without compromising on design and architectural details. Accessibility products are designed with an elevated pattern that can be felt and followed with a foot or white cane. The rods and strips are installed to form consistent lines, which guide, for example, to the exits and thus ensure a safe exit marking all the way.

Photoluminescent glass tiles
Photoluminescent glass tiles have elegant and non-slippery etched surface. Rectangular shaped tiles can be placed sequentially to form solid lines that lead to safety. The longer tiles are perfect e.g. as step-fronts/stair nosing or baseboards. The daylight and afterglow color is green (yellow is available upon request). These tiles are durable and can be used in inside and outside conditions. With normal charge the tiles glow several hours in darkness and have a working life of over 25 years.
